Hope Extreme is a faith based, 501(c)3 non-profit with a mission of providing holistic, revitalizing, and life-changing programs that empower the marginalized and under-resourced with Hope. From its beginning in 2007, Hope Extreme has made great strides in meeting the educational, physical, and emotional needs of those who are marginalized and under-resourced.

 

Through our empowering programs such as our After School and Summer Education program, Hope Fridges, Hope Showers, Momentum Teens and Hope Serves the lives of many in east Houma’s communities have been changed.

But we’re not stopping with what has already been accomplished. 

 

So, what does that mean on a practical level?

 

--In 2024 our vision is to expand the reach of our Signature After School

Program to include immersive curricular workshops for High School

students focusing on areas such as College Prep, ACT Prep, Robotics,

Financial Literacy, and the like.

--In 2024 our vision is to continue in and expand Hope Fridges and Food Pantry that will benefit those in our community who are in need as well as provide food for every student enrolled in our After School Program.

​

--In 2024 our vision is to have more use of Hope Showers and include the area spaces to include a locally sourced vegetable garden and fruit trees.

​

--In 2024 our vision is to expand once again Hope Serves to help our

community that was affected by Hurricane Ida.  This will include having

trash pick-up days, hosting teams that want to serve, and helping

with general repairs to homes. 

​

--In 2024 our vision is to expand our property and reach, whether that is

at our preset physical location or a property that opens up within the

coming months.
